Depending on the age of your website, it can take weeks to have a new site indexed.

Thank you for answering. My sites been submitted for months now. I get Google to 'fetch' and index status says all these hundreds and hundreds of pages are indexed but still no Google index. Its annoying because I am amazingly ready for traffic. To make it worse EVERYONE knows about my site , family and friends, so I am under a slight silent scrutiny to make this work. Hard not to feel a little let down. U think Ive gone wrong?

Sounds to me that you are worrying about nothing. Especially given that you claim your site is merely months old. You may gain confidence after you've watched the following video: How Long Does It Take To Rank & Make Money!?

Thanks Triblu, been at WA approx 4 months almost, so, a little trepidation starting to creep in a little. Lol, that little voice starting to make me 'doubt' 'myself' ever so lslightly, nevertheless, I am still producing posts and endeavoring, just in case 'its' wrong lol! I will watch this video and I am sure I will take great heart from it.
