The most effective way to keep motivated is to keep you motives intrinsically grounded. When you are self-motivated, you do not wait for external rewards to move forward.
Here are a few more steps to keep you moving:
Step 3: Measure Yourself Against Your Last Best
When you compare yourself to others, you are at risk of losing sight of your reason for achieving what you want. Think of yourself as your own measure. Set goals that would take you from your last best to somewhere a little higher.
When you focus on your strengths, you are using the Law of Attraction to achieve more. You have control over youself and what you can achieve. Use that inner strangth to propel you.
Step 4: Keep Connected To Positive People
Maintaining a circle of like-minded, positive and progressive people is an extension of step 3. You do not want to surround yourself with people who are negative and discouraging. Stay away from that kind of discourse.
Do not get me wrong, you also want people who will guide you and give you honest feedback, even the kind that you may not want to hear sometimes. But, you do not want people who discourage you or pass on their negativity to you.
It takes a village to raise a child. It takes a community to provide you with the enabling support you need to succeed.
You are fortunate to have WA but even within our community, you may encounter some negativity. Recognise it and move away.
