Let's Get Started
1. Visit http://picasa.google.com/2. Download Picasa to your PC
3. Install Picasa on Your Computer by following the screen tips.
After Picasa is downloaded it will ask you which folders you want to have scanned to the Picasa library folder.
Your choices are:
• Completely scan my computer for pictures
• Only scan My Documents, My Pictures, and the Desktop
At any time you can change these settings from the Tools – Folder Management menu.
Note: The first time that you open Picasa it will scan your computer for photo files and add them to the Picasa library. This may take a while especially if you have a large amount of photos.
After the initial scan, each time that you open the Picasa folder it searches for any new photos that you have on your computer. You will see a small box on the right hand side of your computer screen showing you that photos are being added to Picasa.
Picasa has a photo viewer that allows you to view your photos with the options to rotate, edit, mark as a favorite, print or upload. To configure the photo viewer go to the menu - click on view.
