And so I developed a way for preschool kids to play early, called PreKeys Preschool Piano Course.
I told you that to tell you this: I began to market PreKeys online through a website I bought and learned how to build. I sold several hundred hard copy, self assembled books at $49.95 (it contained 40 weekly lessons, with stories and original illustrations by my mother).
Then I realized there was a better way. I made a "virtual" copy and began to sell these online with a Paypal "successful payment" page that was actually my page with a link to the course. These I sold for $9.95

I believe this starts with reading too. My dad was a great baritone, I am anywhere from soprano down (several ranges)my mother, sisters and brother fit in too. When we travelled we spent the time singing (or fighting). Dad often picked up hitchhikers who thought we were a touring singing act! My niece has a splendid (non-offensive ie doesn't shriek) opera soprano voice. Instruments weren't started at a young age due to our location in the vast wilderness in BC where we lived. But we loved music.

I too have retired from R&R to much tech in music these days and we are getting to old for American idol. Great Tips Thanks, Fred.
P.S. Drummers don't get paid on songs if they don't write melodies or words. And 75% of drums on the new music in the last 20 years or so are drum machine beats. Stick that in your pipe.
