Today we will try to make a video while creating a video. The mechanics of creating a video is easy once you learn the settings on the tool you are using. What happens after you hit the record button is what makes your video.

I usedScreencastOmatic to record the creation of a video with Monosnap. The links to both are below.

After viewing both videos on the WA platform I prefer Monosnap. The finished product is sharper and clearer.

The ScreencastOmatic has some features that Monosnap lacks but for meMonosnap is the way to go.

This was fun to do. I learned quite a bit. Thanks for watching me learn!

I used Monosnap so much today and didn't even notice it had a video making feature. Thanks for putting this up. I also have Screencastomatic but I think I'll get rid of that one and just use Monosnap from now on.

Hey, Tim,

I didn't know you were a cowboy. Sounded just like Sam Smith or Clint Eastwood...Seen that movie, Roadhouse...Wade Garret...

Monosnap is cool, not only does it take screenshots but also as you've shown, it takes videos too.

:)

I didn't feel like much of a guru when I stopped the video before I was done lol. Thanks so much for your time Trish. I am going to set up Skype this afternoon.

Hi Tim - perfect demo - I prefer SCOM because of the scripting and editing features, but for what you're demonstrating, Monosnap seems perfect.

Cheers, Mark

Thanks Mark! I will have to look further SCOM. For all the bells and whistles $15 a year is a bargain!. Great to hear from you.
