Here are 2 things you could try...
Have you tried creating a new FTP login?
What about your Firewall Settings?

Hi upsgirl, not sure hpw to create a new FTP setting & notb sure how to check firewall settings.

Ok make sure your going to site rubix ,build your website button on left ,click it once,when site manager pops out click it,when it opens up, it will list your site,under your site is a details logo.click that, that is what you put in. if it doesnt work, u can back out,and make it get a new pw from the button there,then get new details and redo.
To go to firewall,it depends on version of windowns,but it always lives under control panel.
to access control panel on windows 8.1 bottom left screen click icon that looks like tiles it will open up a page on page at bottom it will have control panel.
click that.system security.
click that it will pop another window open.
go to windows firewall
check firewall status,and that pops another window open.
choose turn windows firewall off and on.
( i am choosing to use this setting because it is easiet for this specific situation,u will come back and turn this back on.)
then choose turn windows firewall off.
then try filezilla again.
After you do all this, if filezilla works,and you get your verification done,
pls come back repeat these steps and turn windows firewall back on.That is very important. I am choosing to tell you to do it this way because it will only be for a few minutes and you should be ok for that time frame.

turning off firewall didn't help. Do I need to own my own domain in order to do this, because I'm using a siterubix domain. I did exactly what you explained for me to do, but I'm still not seeing on my screen, what is shown on your screen in your video.

uhm lol, i never have done it on a domain i did not own.I think you would need to own it,but i am not sure,ask tech support about this,.

Its storming here too! No, I can't verify my site this way for a siterubix site, since that info isn't provided for a siterubix site. They suggested I contact the affiliate support. I had emailed them last week but never heard back. Guess I'll try again...
