Prepare Your Word Document

Before I start Screen Clipping, I have to optimize my Word document for the images.

Sometimes the image will be bigger than the margins of your Word document. Word will automatically resize the image to fit. I don’t want this to happen, because it will reduce the quality of the image.

I have created a default Word document for my Screenshot images.

Here are the steps:

  1. Open a new word document
  2. Select Page Layout, Orientation, Select Landscape
  3. Select Page Layout, Size, Select A3
  4. You can also reduce the margins if you want to
  5. Save your new document as “Word for Images” or something you can easily identify it by. I normally just save it to my desktop. This will prevent you from doing it every time you want to use the Screenshot feature.

This will keep the original size of your images.
