Signing Up

First of all you need to create an account so when you click on register/sign up the first step is to choose what account you require:

As an Affiliate Marketer you require a publisher account. Business wishing for people to sell their products require an advertiser account.

As standard with many affiliate platforms the next page will require you to enter your personal details and passwords so you can log in. Once completed the next step is to enter your promotional type.

How will you promote their clients products?

The next step will ask you for your url such as your website or blog you use to show your online presence.

The description is important and this is your shop window. This will show up on your publisher's profile page for advertisers to view.

Be sure to add good content here.

Once you have entered the required details the next step will require you to deposit £5.00 into your account.

This deposit is returned to you when you receive your first payment. Its a set up fee but also to show you are a serious marketer.

Many people set up accounts and never use.

all that is left is to verify your email address and then you can long in but allow some time for your account to be set up.

Well, a bit of a surprise to see this training, but you did a good job on it. FYI I work for Awin.

I do want to clarify that the $5 payment is not a fee, but rather a anti-fraud device. The credit card company had to confirm your identity to issue credit to you. Fraudsters never want a network to confirm their identity. I wrote about it in depth here - I'm glad to answer any questions about Awin for any WA member.

Hi Jeannine

Thank you for explaining the £5. I’ll amend that. It’s a good idea to weed out the fraudsters.

I just thought a Brief explanation on Awin would help others as I could not find any on WA normally there is a something on everything here!

I got the idea after seeing a question this morning from another member.

I’ve started using Anwin a lot more so I will probably have some questions! So far it seems very user friendly.
