4. Now you should already know what you want to sell on Fiverr if you don't know yet I suggest you go to the first page of Fiverr again and hover over the categories and write down those things that you can do.

Creating new gig:

A)

OVERVIEW --> GIG TITLE: Type in what you'll do. Example: I will translate text from English to Spanish. Or: I will design a text logo.

Then select the CATEGORY in which your gig belongs.

DESCRIPTION: Write how good are you in a certain skill and where did you learn about it or how many experience you have.

You may need to set up extra stuff on this window, depending on what you are selling. (Example: If you are selling translations you need to set up your languages).

TAGS: add tags that describe your gig.

Click SAVE & CONTINUE.

B)

Now you need to set prices for your gig.

First, choose the price for your gig. It depends on what you are offering. You can also check out what your competition is charging. Then name your package and describe it. Think about your current situation and how long would it take you to complete the thing you are offering. You choose that under "Delivery Time". Under "Revisions" choose how many revisions of your service are included in the price.

Next, you have to set up different settings that depend on the service you are selling. Same goes with "My Gigs Extras" where you can check the what extra you are offering. Example: If you are offering translations then under "extras" you can check the proofreading box and set up the price for proofreading or you can charge extra for extra words etc.

Click SAVE & CONTINUE when you are done.

C) REQUIREMENTS: Here you tell your buyers what you need to get started.

You can also skip that step and talk with buyers via private message about order specifics.

This step makes ordering faster. You can add the requirement that your buyer needs to tell you more about the order. It's always better to talk to the buyer directly to set up details so there are no confusions later.

SAVE & CONTINUE or SKIP

D) ADDING IMAGES

You need to add an image to your gig, it's good that the image is related to the service you are offering.

You can also add related videos and pdf files. If you are offering voice overs, designs, video production etc. add the things you already made so buyers can check those out.

Once you are done click SAVE & CONTINUE.

E) All that is left to do is to publish your gig and make it public.

I had a hard time when I was joining Fiverr because I didn't found the information how to create a gig, that's why I decided to create new training here.
Hope it will help some people and I hope I did it correctly since it's my first training.

Ursulla, your training's highly interesting!
If a person wants to make money blogging, for example, can referances be given, so the customer can evaluate the quality before the buying decision?

It's recommended that sellers show their work so that buyers know what to expect.
Sometimes buyers if they want something in a larger quantity (more logos, longer translations ...) buy one gig, to see the quality before ordering all that they want.
If you sell your writing skills you can link to your work on your profile or add it like a pdf file (like it's shown in the tutorial) to the gig.
I hope I answered your question.

I created my Fiverr account just to see what's all about (I had a hard time figuring out how to add new gig, that's why I created this training). I was really surprised when I received the first order in one week. You have nothing to lose, so why not. :)
