Once you have located the revision and restored it, you will then see the reverted content in your page/post ready for further editing if required. There will also be a notification at the top of the page stating the date and time of the restored revision.

You have now successfully restored your page/post to a previous state.

If this training is now out of date, please let me know below or via PM, and I will get it updated for you.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave a comment below, and either myself or one of the other great WA members here will get back to you :-)

If you are using the Block Editor instead of the Classic Editor, I have just released a version of this training but for the Block Editor (Gutenberg) interface.

Chystopher, Now I know how to revert posts back, but I need the navigation window restored. Should I ask for a backup from WP?

If it is only the navigation, I.e. your custom menu, then I would just do this manually

Thanks Chrystopher. I was just playing with this yesterday when I was trying to fix my Amazon Images issue. I am still having some trouble with them. They were showing and then they were not again. A little frustrating. It may be a browser or start my computer again issue. That is what solved yesterday.
