This video training has one simple goal...

To help YOU understand the process of making money online.

It is actually more simplistic than you think. Although there are many ways in which people are creating successful businesses online, there is one core component to any successful business, a website.

In this video I walk you through the process right from the initial audience, to the search in Google, to the website, to the niche, to the types of programs that you are going to be promoting to generate revenue.

There are many ways that you can earn a full time income online once you understand the fundamentals and this video is going to clarify what the fundamental process is.

If you have any comments or questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to give you a hand.

Is there some kind of stats that I can look at too see what is trending that most of the customers are buying, so I can target that products to pursue on my website ? For example - Amazon has the stats of what sales that consumers are buying the most of and I'm sure they have what came in second, third, etc..... Can we request for that stats as a affiliate member ??

I don't do Amazon but there will be members who can give you the answer to your question.
However I use Google trends a lot so why not have a looksee here

Your best bet is using Google trends, since you won't know how to use Jaaxy research tool yet. You could also try these: Also, I recommend using a free site first instead of buying a custom domain until you feel comfortable keeping the niche you picked. This way you can delete and start over without the extra $15 expense for another custom domain.

It's really easy here to transfer a free site to your own domain later on.

If you mean why don't I do it I just don't have any interest in doing affiliate marketing.
Tried it years ago and made money at it but then it became way too saturated.
I Mentor/Tutor online and I get involved with Revenue Share programs in my spare time.
More money to be made as far as I'm concerned and its a quicker return on your investment.
I made over a $1,000 last week and I could do that every week if I put my mind to it.

I see, thank you Robert. The reason I am here at all is due to a major cut in income - more then 50% and the lifestyle I had at $80K / year is going away. I am behind the curve on replacing the lost wages and I need to act very quickly to avoid disaster. Where should i invest my training and attention? I cant see a part time job helping very much. I do work from home in the job I have and there are snippets of time throughout the workday that I can invest and of course my evenings are totally available. Obviously, I have zero investment dollars. I intend to go premium today but after my truck payment I only have $200 for two weeks. The truck payment is not my only bill by any means but the paycheck is what it is and nothing else will get paid.

You are almost at the end of your trial period so if you are thinking about going premium then take the Certification Course.
It will show you what you need to do to become an affiliate and actually make money at it.
I'm not saying you will make a lot but it will keep the bailiffs at bay as we say over here.
You could also take the Bootcamp if you want to promote WA but there are a lot of members already doing this and i have yet to see anyone make vast amounts of money from it.
Thinking back I only made $167 in the year but then again i wasn't really trying.
The final decision is yours Gordon.

This example targets a very narrow niche. How important is that? My vision for my website is a large website on animal care, with many subthemes that include animal clothing, animal health products, training supplies, basic supplies like crates, dishes, etc. Since I have a substantial background in animal care, I want to add articles I find or write myself on things like where to get cheap or free vet care, the best dog parks in the US, places to adopt, places to take your dog on vacation, and I would also like to add a video a few times a week showing some funny animal behavior. I thought I could use the articles and videos to email to people to draw them in to look at the products. Does this sound right, or am I taking on too much?

There are many advantages to narrow down your niche as compared to chose something broad.
1) Your site will more focus on a specific theme topic.
2) Google likes sites that are based on specific niche. That being said, your chances to get ranked in search engines are better.
3) People will see you as an expert in the niches because all your articles are based on specific topic.

Can you make it with a broad niche. Definitely you can but you need to work harder, create more articles and it takes longer time for the site to mature.

You only need to focus on a small portion of a niche to make it successful with the site. There are people who have succeeded with small niches.

Hope that make sense.

I can hardly beilve for the first time when I see it . Many of the online e-commerce entrepreneurs have told me to focus on using their methodology to acquire a niche product rather than just being an affilate marketer. Because they are sure that the profits gained by affiliate marketing won't last long . Although some part of me is skeptical, I'm willing to open my mind to go further.

That is because they are trying to sell you their system, often times expensive ones. I don't recommend you create your own product/service as the starting point of your business, something that you can consider down the road as you have a brand.

Many products/services offer 30%-50% commission, the average ROI on a product you source and sale is 10% and you still have to establish a brand and pay for all of the marketing.

Either can be great, and we work with both types of marketers here, but ultimately before you focus too much on what you will sale, you need to establish a brand.

I love the snack helmets, They are a great novelty gift. The affiliate marketing cycle and process is not difficult o understand, The customer goes to your site, makes a purchase, and you get paid. I don't quite understand the ranking process in Google Search. Is it getting a high standing for your website by using hyperlinks or trading links with other listings?

Hey Melissa,

Gaining rank in Google searches means that the content that ranks higher and higher is the preferred content that addresses the majority of web searchers issues with the quality of information they were looking for.

Hope you find this helpful.

As Google starts to trust your site, it will rank you higher and higher. The rank is the place where you fall in the search engine. You want to be on the first page, because most people don't look past the first few results when they type in a search term into google.

Hi everyone
I really liked this video. As an extremely sceptical person, I am surprised that I haven't found myself wondering what the catch is... When do we get told we have to sell a whole lot of water cooling systems or beauty products? When do we find out we need to invest $5000 upfront?
All seems legit so far and from the very little I've seen so far, I feel like this could work for me!
Hope you're all feeling just as positive!

Hi Marketa- Sounds like you have been stung by past scammy biz people - I hope not, however, I for one can assure you - Wealthy Affiliate is the best platform to build a solid online future and all you do is pay $49 each month should you choose to go premium and that's it. Very low overheads to own your own amazing business. It takes time to build and consistent effort however it truly is so great.
Here is an image of what you get should you choose to go premium, however, there is still the option of staying as a free member and building from this as well
All the best and enjoy your new journey

I agree the very low overhead is very attractive to me big selling point.

There should never be overhead like that in your business for information or services. We would rather you spend that money on paid ads, outsourcing, etc. down the road, and that is why we have kept our price point the SAME for the last 13 years.

By the way, how do you get to be in the top 100? What does that mean?

I had those same thoughts at first, this IS legit, stick around, you will see.

It just means that we spend a lot of time at WA interacting with people and being as helpful as we can. There is no monetary reason to be in the top 100. It really means nothing much, apparently.
I got there without even knowing how I did it. Someone had to explain it to me.
