Utilizing Hashtags on Facebook

The use of hashtags helps a lot when you’re aiming for higher visibility and exposure for your Facebook content. While using hashtags on Facebook, note that it shouldn’t be overdone. As earlier recommended, a maximum of two hashtags should suffice on this platform too. In an attempt to use hashtags excessively, you’ll get your readers annoyed and you won’t look professional.

For the content you want to get found with, publish as public, not as friends and family. This will ensure people who have interest in the topic associated with your hashtags can easily find your content.

Utilizing Hashtags on LinkedIn

Though users haven’t yet started paying attention to the use of hashtags here as they do on Twitter, it simply works the same way. Try using a couple of hashtags in the body of your content on LinkedIn when you publish a long-form post. Don’t use more than three hashtags in any given post no matter how long.

When it comes to increasing recognition for your brand on the LinkedIn network, the judicious use of hashtags will present your content before the thousands of potential clients both within and outside your network.

Are hashtags the same for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram?

Yeah they all work in the same way. I know Instagram has a limit of 30 hashtags per post though so be aware of that. If you add more they will all be wiped off. Not sure about the limit with twitter and FB.

you can just google the most searched hashtags in any field. It will give you a list of the top ones.
IE: best hashtags for travel.

Much welcome onboard, Joe! Thanks for dropping by! Using hashtags on social media is of paramount importance to getting found or making your content accessible by your ideal audience, though there's always a limit to the number you can use in any post which has already been explained in this tutorial. Thanks for your contributions!
