How to Increase Facebook Engagement
All the actions people take on your Facebook page or post are known as engagements. They include likes, comments, and shares. This form of engagement is important to us as marketers because they help increase our organic reach.
It is a lot of extra reach at no cost to your business. As such, you cannot underestimate the effect and benefit of engagement from platforms like Facebook.
But with recent changes in algorithms, you may be noticing a drastic reduction in your engagement. It does not call for panic. It is a call for a change in strategy. The big giant is only demanding for brands and marketers to resharpen their skills and improve how they acquire likes and gain shares of their content.
They have tweaked their algorithm. There is no room for engagement baits and spammy tactics.
For example, those days you can respond to comments with Affiliate links, the order has changed. Now there is a call to deliver genuine content and not just pasting affiliate links all around. The short story is, what used to work no longer works again.
That does not mean you have to run away from the platform. It is time to look at how to craft and set up your content for relevant engagement.
We will consider how you can achieve this in eight key points
I plan on starting to do this different on my FB page.
