Step 2:
As an Author, you need to access your Author Profile in WordPress. You must log in to your admin page, then on "Users", click the user you want to modify. Then scroll to “Contact Info” section under “Website” copy and paste your Google Plus Profile URL with “?rel=author” (without the quotes) tagged to the end without spaces. Double check that everything looks good and then click Save. (for example, this is how my URL looks and yours should look similar): https://plus.google.com/109761106005099411307?rel=author)
