How to Flush DNS in Windows 7
Step 1: Type cmd into the search bar and hit enter.
*Note: Another way to do it is click the start button and follow the sequence: Start > All programs > Accessories > Command Prompt
Step 2: When you hit enter, the command prompt 'black box' comes up, we are going to type the words ipconfig/flushdns into this box at the cursor, in this case after the word user> on the screen (sometimes your name or admin will appear instead of 'user')
Type ipconfig/flushdns in here just like this:
Step 3: Hit Enter, and you will get a 'successfully flushed' message. You are done. Just close the box.
**Note: I have provided extended explanations on the choice of ipconfig without the space and choosing to run command prompt without admin in this case on page 2 of this tutorial.
Next page I will show how to clear browser cache in Chrome, Firefox, and Opera, [and thanks Loes for the shortcut tip on Chrome, WA teamwork ;) ]
