A few days ago I received an interesting question from one of my readers ... He was looking for an efficient method of displaying a before & after photo effect on his Wordpress website.

I've made some research and of course there is a solution ...

But let's first clarify the term ... Basically, a before and after photo effect is a side by side comparison of two identical images with certain, usually minor differences.

It's a simple yet powerful solution used as a visual aid that "depicts" two different states of a given photo, project, product, etc. The most common example: those amazing before and after weight loss pictures ...

And here's the thing ... Normally people will use Photoshop or another image editing software to create two different static images or a single photo that shows the before and after effects.

But, there's a better way ... I found a cool plugin that will allow you to create a functional photo slider. An interactive slider that will help you to show two different versions of a similar image in full size (the user can move the slider handle to compare both images side by side). Sounds cool, isn't it?

This is why I've decided to create this short tutorial, where I will show you how easy is to display an interactive before & after photo comparison on your Wordpress website.

Let's do this!
