Once you are ready to enter your name servers, enter thePrimary WA Name Server

Then Secondary WA Name Server

And Click Ok.

You should receive a Message that it may take a few minutes for the changes to happen, but usually it does not take that much.

Hi. You are an absolute gem! Sean was nice enough to show me your training to change DNS in Godaddy to point WA servers. Well not being technical, I hesitated, but it worked. Thank you so much! I hope it's ok to follow you and check into other information.

How do I know my domain has been connected to my website?

on your post, or dashboard up the top is view page. See what the url is. It will say https:// your website name dot whatever. If your old website was siterubix then that extension will be gone. is this what you were asking?

Are you trying to point your domain name server to WA? If yes, you can do the necessary in your godaddy account (i.e. input the WA servers):

Primary: ns1.mywahosting.com
Secondary: ns2.mywahosting.com

Then, come back to WA (under sitemanager) and click on Build a website. Sometimes it will take minutes if not hours, but once WA picks up the DNS from Go daddy, you should be able to create a website with WA successfully.

Let me know if you encounter any problems.

I can't transfer my domains until after 60 days (5/15/18) so can I do this DNS transfer now? Does that allow my email to be transferred to WA as well? My host is Bluehost. Does anyone know where I go in Bluehost to change the DNS server settings?

Once you do this does going ahead doing the domain transfer after 5/15 make sense? Is that just changing who the domain registration will flow through at that point?

I have followed the instruction of replacing DNS information with the Primary and Secondary posted above yesterday.

When I returned to SiteRubix today and clicked Move, I still cannot follow the steps outline in the video walkthrough. I am not given a choice of 2 options-just has Step 1 where I am to type in the domain name and then click My Cart.

Has anyone else had this experience? Cannot seem to get through this step.

Hey Leslie,

If I were you, I would contact SiteSupport: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

Where you're asked to Choose a Domain select "Not Listed" if your site is not there yet ... and choose Other under Choose the category of the problem.

Under Question ... provide as much detail as possible so they can understand what you want to do an what you are trying to do so that they can instruct you to accomplish what it is that you want to do.

If you can provide screen prints ... that would be even better.

Hope this helps you.

Thanks. I actually just responded to their inquiry for further information. Hopefully, I can get this resolved tonight so I can move on to the adding email task in the lesson.

Thanks!

The reason why I asked because I purchased two domains from goDaddy, I did set one up for my website but I don't like the way how I edit or doesn't have all features for editing unless you upgrade to ....and it's not easy to proceed, I would to trnasfer to WA and build my websites here at home, any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.

This is what I did too. I moved domain names to WA and I started buying new domains here because it is the best value when you look at domain purchase, hosting, email address, etc. On GoDaddy all those are extra services and you pay for one website just as much as your monthly premium here at WA. Does this make sense?

Hi, this is really helpful. However, i'm confused on one thing. Do we enter WA's server as primary and Go Daddy as secondary?

just WA server. You should have custom sever name.

1. NS1.MYWAHOSTING.COM
2. NS2.MYWAHOSTING.COM

You need to have both these under your customer server names. Does this help?
