So, I am aware that many of you use Generate Press, myself included, as it is highly recommended.

However, despite the fact that it is easy to customize, a lot of people stick to the same initial color theme that it comes with.

Let me show you how to change various elements of your site to a different color, just to make your site a little bit more individual and personal.

First of all, log in to your WordPress dashboard, and go to Appearance, then Customize, then Colors.

Great explanation, Diane.

Is there a difference between the free and paid versions?

I only use the free version, so I don't know!

On the GP customize area, I'm not sure how many options you can customize with the free version. I only know what is available with the premium version of GP.

Good tutorial -- I have done some color changing on my site, but will go have a look to see if there's anything else that could do with a color boost.

Thanks for this training, Diane. I have not thought to change the colours in Generate Press but it's good to learn that I can particularly as I'm starting a new site very soon.
