In this video training we learn:

1. How to build an Amazon aStore
2. How to add products to your Amazon aStore
3. How to customize the title and appearance of the aStore

When you choose products, you will want to investigate them further, even ordering items to try them out. For the sake of time I did not take that step.

Feel free to ask questions, I will do my best to answer them.
Thanks, and I hope you found this helpful!

I had an amazon store. And it did nothing. I did make a sell to a friend of mine who was shopping there anyway. I made 1.45. Of course I signed up from a different company that said, hey you can make lots of money here with an amazon store. Well, they called two weeks later wanting me to spend $5,000 dollars to promote it! So I've heard these stores don't do well, unless you friends and family by from there and they will use your store for each purchase.

Otherwise, creating a new store site like you are talking about, (I think) it would be like targeting traffic to a brand new website. Will take lots of time and effort. And then possibly fail to work.

So it was only $49 dollars to have them create the store and set me up with passwords and such....but the deal was the upsales!
Shoot buddy. If this is your passion then go for it. But just a word of advice. Been there and tried that! :) What works for one does not always work for someone else though. I will gladly read your lessons here as for training purposes though.
Good luck and God Bless!

Hey man!
You are absolutely right, what works for one does not always work for someone else!
As far as targeting traffic to it, I put the aStore as a tab of the website.
If I used it as a stand alone url, sure, it would be like targeting traffic to a brand new website.

With all my respect, Astore and all types of banner no longer works, they're only a waste of time, space and efforts, may be it used to work before but not any longer.

Nowadays, you have to resort to new tricks to get people to buy anything. Even reviews are fading as an effective way to make money and are not like they used to be.

The best way to get people to buy is by writing helpful articles and sneaking your affiliate links flawlessly within the articles without making the readers feel that there is even an affiliate link there, its called the soft approach selling. This is a very long topic that I would love to talk more about but truly lack the time.

Take my advice and save yourself time and headache and forget about banners of any type shape or form, they are not like they used to be. Hardly anyone would click them if any.

I appreciate you sharing, Sam!
And I would agree, soft approach selling is important and needs to be used in our posts and content.
I don't address the use and philosophy of an aStore in this video, it is not meant to replace soft approach selling. It is an avenue to sell outside the confines of your articles.
You are right about banners and aStores in that they are not as effective as they once were. No one will argue with that.
I made 8 sales from my aStore in the past 3 days, I am not counting products in my soft approach selling in my articles, just my aStore sales. So, it's not amazing.
I totally get what you are saying. I'm just not prepared to admit it's a waste of time if it is still working (just not as well as it used to).

Eight sales in three days is pretty darn good volume. If it works for you then go for it. We are all here to earn some income, and avoid scams, so thanks for sharing your story.
