In one of my previous training videos I showed How To Add Adsense Auto Ads To Your Website which is quite awesome because it is set and forget. Google will then add ads wherever they feel fit. However this is not always a great thing as your website can look quite spammy.

For this reason I manually add ads to a few of my websites so that I have complete control of how many ads are added, where they show and what they look like.

This training video shows you how to create ad units and how to add them to your website.

An easy way to keep track of your ads and codes is by using Shortcoder, you can view this training to set that up:

How To Use Shortcoder to Easily Add Html Banners and Code To Your Posts

Thank you Lynne. I now have small ads appearing at the right of my website instead of cluttering up my blogs. I know I shouldn't complain because so many people haven't been approved for Adsense and I guess I am lucky. All is good! As I get more confident, I hope to create my own ads but for now I can deal with the Adsense ads on my site.

Congrats? LOL I'm still not sure how that has happened, it is really strange. Gremlins indeed.

I am wondering if it has to do with the Ad Types: Text and Ad styles; Custom Channels; and If No Ads Available. I believe I clicked on the last option. Does that make sense?
