Adding files to your root directory may seem very daunting, but the process is actually very simple when you get to it.

This video shows you step by step how to add files to your root directory through FTP using Filezilla. You can download Filezilla here: https://filezilla-project.org/

If you have any questions please pop them in the comments and I will come back to you as soon as possible :)

Hi Marie

Do you mean that the 2 sites that are active and set u are not giving any issues but the third one that is a domain but not set up is giving an issue? Perhaps you need to set it up then. Otherwise I suggest you contact support?

I know how to do lots of little things... if they work - however troubleshooting is not my strong point.

Great tutorial. I only read about it online, and never thought I would use this one day because it appeared to be very complicated. LOL.

Now I have finally been able to set up my push notifications thanks to this tutorial.

This is awesome. Thanks a lot.

When I try to connect it says: Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS.

And then down at the bottom it says: Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

Should I take this to SiteSupport?

Thank you

Never mind, I was reading the comments on another video and fixed it. For those having the same error it's Edit>Settings>Connection>FTP and then switch it from passive to active. That solved my problem right there.

Hi MichelleAnne, I'm having the same challenge. Where did you go to edit those settings? On Wealthy Affiliate or on FileZilla. I'm lost.
I went to Transfer Settings on FileZilla and switched from Default Mode to Active and I'm still getting the same error.
UPDATE: Aah, I contacted Site Support and they said "You can safely ignore this TLS warning and proceed further."
