In order to create a PDF or eBook download link within our WordPress blog, we must first of all create the PDF file.
You can create your eBook or PDF guide within a standard Microsoft Word document to start with. Depending on what software you have available, you can create a document in just about any word processing software and then convert the finished file into a PDF format document.
In this example we have created an eBook within Microsoft Word that we will be adding to our website.
It is important that you space out the text and links within your document, just as you would like them to appear within your finished eBook. Here is an example of the text from the ebook that we will be adding to our website.
The process of converting a Microsoft Word document couldn't be simpler. However, if you don't have Microsoft Word then you may need to do a little extra research to learn how to convert your particular file.
Here's how to create a PDF in Microsoft Word...
- Create a document or eBook within Microsoft Word.
- Export the file to PDF format.
- Name and save your PDF file for use later.
Once you have created your PDF file we can then add it to our WordPress blog and create a download link.
