After you create you document and save your file as a word doc, excel spreadsheet, etc., we must convert it to a PDF file.

For this example I am using an excel spreadsheet.

To convert the file to PDF, there are many free programs available online, such as freepdfconvert, convert2pdf, and smallpdf. While they are free, most have some limits on how many files you can convert within a specific time frame. In this situation, we're just converting a single file, so I will be using convert2pdf.com.

Simply upload your file, select standard conversion for a single file, and convert. Once the conversion is a complete, you'll be automatically prompted to save your PDF file.

Next, we're ready to get an URL for that PDF.
