How to Enable Pinterest Rich Pins
Now that the facts are out, let's walk you through the steps in enabling Rich Pins on your blog
How to Enable Rich Pins Using Yoast Plugin
WordPress users never had it so easy with enabling Rich Pins on their blogs. Bloggers on the WordPress platform can easily enable Rich Pins using the Yoast plugin in 3 simple steps.
You are expected to have signed up for a business account on Pinterest and claimed your website before proceeding with the steps. If you are yet to get any of these done, now would be the right time to do so. Once done, we will proceed with the steps in using Yoast plugin.
Step 1 - Install Yoast plugin for free on your WordPress blog for easier set up of Pinterest Rich Pins
Step 2 - Enable Open Graph Meta data and then go to your WordPress Dashboard , click on "social" and then "Facebook" and finally select "Add Open Graph metadata" completing this with setting to "enabled"
Step 3 - Validate Rich Pins by going to Pinterest Rich Pin Validator and entering the URL for any of your blog's page and click the "Validate" button. Once you receive the message "Your Pins have been validated" you then click on "Apply" and you're good to go.
Within a couple of days, the Pins in your Pinterest account will begin displaying additional information.
Could you tell me whether I should be a person on Yoast SEO for Pinterest or an organization? I think I have already claimed my Pinterest account as my posts come up on Pinterest.
I understood most of your explanation here of how to get Rich Pins showing on Pinterest with Yoast. However, I got stuck when I saw Organisation Social Profiles.
That option doesn't come up as I am showing as a Person, not Organisation in my Yoast dashboard...
Hope that's clear?
Kindly advise...
I could not find Enable Open Graph Meta data - Please tell me how to find it.

Great Training thanks.
Shouldn't users deactivate the All in one SEO plugin, before installing the Yoast plugin?
Most Websites from WA come with the All in one SEO ready installed.
All in one SEO has this function also and you can activate social meta tags.
