A Detailed Guide to Configuring All in One SEO Plugin
Upon installing and activating the All in One SEO pack plugin, proceed to configuration straightaway. Log in your WordPress back office and click on General settings under the All in One SEO tab.
General Settings – Setting Up Your Home Page
While trying to update your home page settings, you’re going to need to add some details such as Home title for your website, Home description & others. Bear the following points in mind:
Home Title– Use your Website name alongside your tagline. (For example: OnlineBusinessPublication – Guide to Online Marketing, OnlineBusinessPublication – Turn Your Passion into a Thriving Online Business).
Home Description: In not more than 160 characters, draft what your blog is basically about. Make it keyword-rich, informative & meaningful.
Next on configuration is Keyword settings, and as I referenced, Meta Keywords are not any longer considered as signals for search engine ranking, so you can choose to disable this setting, and proceed to Title settings.
