Add and Verifty your account
- You can add sites to your account because you have a Bing Webmaster Tool Account
- Just enter the URL [of your site into the Add a Site into the input box.
- Now click ADD.
- Next verify that you are the owner of the website.
BELOW ARE 3 OWNERSHIP VERIFICATION METHODS
- Click the option best suited for your site and follow the on-screen instructions:
BELOW ARE THE OPTIONS:
Option 1.:
XLm file Authentication:
Click- Bing Site Auth. XLM
Now, file on your computer
THIS FILE CONTAINS YOUR PERSONAL VERIFICATION CODE
Next- Upload the file to the root folder of the site you are trying to add.
Option 2: Meta tag Authentication
Copy- the display <meta> tag. It will have your personal verification code to clipboard.
Open- Registered site's default Page (The Home Page)
Paste- In your web development environment editor,PASTE the providedCODE at the end of the <head> section.
Lastly- Save and upload the revised default page containing theNEW <meta> Tag to your site.
