The lessons of PLR are simple.
Purchasing private label rights articles and eBooks for resale is relatively easy and quick. PLR and MMR products are cheap, but understanding the differences between PLR and MRR gives you a better understanding of what you’re buying. It also lets you know how you can sell both types so that you have a better way to market your products.
In addition to allowing you to purchase a product, PLR also allows you to change or modify it in any way you want to. Basically, you can treat a PLR product as if you created it yourself. However, you are not allowed the claim to the resell rights to the PLR content. In other words, you cannot pass on the Private Label Rights of the product to your customers.
Mindset Is Key,
If you buy from reputable PLR sources they will usually have a limited number of each PLR package available, which means that they don't oversell any articles. So it definitely pays to check out each PLR company individually first.
You can find great PLR providers to match your particular niche, and they often offer a monthly membership option. Purchasing PLR content really isn't expensive, and a lot of people give free PLR content to their subscribers also as an added incentive.
I have used PLR in the past, which I changed and rewrote to suit my own voice and topics. I would always change the title to any eBooks or articles as well. The idea is to make it your own, with your own voice.
At the moment I am working on an online course, the basis of which is PLR. I only purchase from people that I know I can trust. There are a number of reputable people who work from home writing and providing PLR content for people just like us to use.
So they are hoping also that we will continue to support them by purchasing their products.
On the plus side when you're short on time like I am it really helps to already have the basis for an article available to use.
I would definitely recommend PLR to anyone here.
Cheers, Jeff.
