1. Title Tags (The first is your page title)

It is essential that you include some keywords in the title of your page. You must first use the important keywords and reduce the length of the title page. When a title tag is well constructed, this means it contains some major keywords.

The title page shouldn’t be more than 65 characters, and Stop Words are to be excluded from the page title. You should also reduce the number of hyphens, commas, and alphanumeric characters you use.

2. Header Tags

The next thing you must examine on your website is the header tags like the H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, and H6 tags. Make sure you include some important keywords in the H1 header tag. This will make it easier for users to find you and also for Google to rank you better.

3. Page Content

The next thing to check on your website is your content. Definitely, you would like to add keywords to the content on your site, but as you do that, don’t forget the primary aim of the content.

The aim of the content is to help the readers find solutions to their problems. When you want to add keywords to the page, add them to the region where it will be meaningful. Your content should have 1000+ words and they should contain keywords. The Metadata and URL of your site should also contain an important keyword.

4. Navigation

Each of your webpages must have a link to another; this will enable the web spider to find all your pages. This step is very important when trying to rank high on the search engine.
