As a website creator, I need to have good quality photos.

There are many photographers and graphic designers out there who are kind enough to make their work available for free. Here are some of my favorite resources!

Flickr Creative Commons

Pixabay

Wikimedia Commons

These sites have huge data bases of photos ranging from all rights reserved to no rights reserved.

Remember to always check the licenses before using a photo. If you are in about whether or not an image is usable, find a different one. It's not worth the risk.

If you want to learn more about Creative Common Licensing and what is exactly entails, this is a good resource .

Creative Commons Information

Now that you know where to find some good pictures, you need to know how to give the proper credit.

Thanks you. I was wondering how to give actual credit to photos in my blog.

Hi Kyle,
Following you now. Thanks for the article on Creative Commons, and specifically in the Photo area. I am going to quote your blog and expand on it with a blog in the audio area and further resources.
Thanks and best wishes.

Great training. It is also something everyone who uses images needs to be aware of. You hit the ball out of the park for a first training!

Nice training for those who need to be aware of copyrighted material and how to cite them for the use of it. Well Done Kyle.
