In this quick and simple video I wanted to show you how you can create your own snazzy little call to action buttons for your website without using a plugin.
I was asked by one of our members how I got some call to action buttons on my website.
My theme has its own calls to action buttons (I add them with shortcodes) so I don't need to make them myself. However, not all WordPress themes have an option to add buttons such as mine.
But there is a way you can make your own button. You know you can make clickable images, well this is exactly the same thing, only the image is a button.
Orange buttons supposedly get more clicks than green, blue or red, so I've heard. Anyways, the choice of colours, size, and text on the button is up to you. Also the choise of what text appears is up to you, too. You could try the following examples.

Tools you'll need.
Pixabay or similar to get an image of a button.
Snappa.io or Canva.com or similar to edit the button, or, like me in the video, I ended up just making a plain orange square button. You could do the same and skip the use of pixabay.
other stuff...
The url you want the button to link to...could be another post or page on your site or it could be an affiliate link...
Thanks for watching.
Don't forget to like and comment. :)
I was wondering if you knew about any toggle call to action buy buttons? Or seen anything like that in your travels?
Ex: you press on "Buy" and when you do, a list will toggle down to a number of different vendors such as: Amazon, Chapters/Barns & Noble, AudioBooks, etc.
I have been on the hunt for that specifically and can't seem to find exactly that. I know another fellow has it already in his theme but mine doesn't.
I'm not tech savvy at all and I'm thinking that that may be contributing to my not finding exactly what I'm looking for.
Great video by the way :)
Thanks
Amanda
