First and foremost, I want to discuss the reasons in which you would want to create training, in particular the benefits and the unbelievable Karma pool it will create for you by having your say here within The Open Education Project.
One of the main initiatives within The Open Education Project was to create a system that would allow people to create their very own training and contribute to the overall community...and to be rewarded for it!
In my 10 years experience I still don’t know everything, but the things that I do know and that I can help out with I share regularly by creating training here at Wealthy Affiliate. Everyone has something to offer to the community.
There are many benefits to creating training, some of which may not seem so apparent at first, but before I get into the “how to create” part, I want to walk you through some of the core benefits of becoming a training creator here.
(1) Creating a following
I personally follow every single person that offers valuable training here at Wealthy Affiliate and I am not alone. What happens when someone follows you is that every blog post, every training item, or every discussion that you have going forward will be posted on their “Personal Feed” and they will be sent an email notification about it. A large following can definitely equate to power and a voice within any subject and will lead to many opportunities within WA going forward.
(2) Become an Expert
Show your expertise! Often times you don’t really know something in totality into you are actually put in a position where you have to teach it. Creating training can help you self analyze your own process and can lead to a better understanding of your knowledge set and often times a new angle at what you already know.
(3) Ambassadorship
Every quality training module you create contributes towards becoming an ambassador which will equate to a “super user” status within Wealthy Affiliate, not to mention an all expenses paid trip to Las Vegas, the next trip slated for late 2012...along with some unbelievable opportunities going forward. This is discussed in more detail the last section of this training.
(4) Earn Revenue
You can earn credits in an ongoing basis for all of your training. There are different credit levels depending on how successful your resource is, with the initial credit level paying out 5 credits ($5). The Credit Levels allow you to earn money for years to come with any resource that you create depending on how successful it is (Likes, Comments, Views, Engagement, Activity).
(5) Pay it forward.
Karma will definitely be on your side. When you help others out you are paying your knowledge forward. Paying it forward always pays back and comes back to benefit you, I am a true believer of this principle and have always taken this approach with anything that I do.
Anyone can create training. Everyone has something to share. The set of topics in which you can create training is diverse here at Wealthy Affiliate, if it is related to any aspect of online business or the creation thereof, it is appropriate. That leads me to the concept of “how to choose a topic”...
It feels good to be sharing the knowledge that we have acquired. And I hope that a lot more trainers will be developed from within WA.

In other words, you could create a training resource and then let people know about it. Give them the link and tell them all they have to do to get it is sign-up for free (via your affiliate link obviously). :)
No better reason to tell people to join WA than offering them some specific training.
