Once you make sure your WordPress is up-to-date click Install Now to install the AMP by Automattic.

After installing you must click Activate to activate the plugin

Now you should be taken back to the Plugins page, but if you look on the bottom left of your screen you should see AMP has been added to the list of Plugins as well as Options with the only option at the moment being Analytics.

If you click the Analytics option you will see that the options are limited.

TESTING TO MAKE SURE YOUR SITE IS AMPED

[PICTURE 1]

Now that we have the official plugin installed let's make sure our posts are accelerated for mobile page viewing. The first picture is a screenshot of how my post looks if a user goes to my post link on their mobile. The second picture is a screenshot of my amped post which you can view by simply typing /amp after any of your site URLs.

Now that we have tested and made sure that our posts are amped and the plugin is working (If your plugin is not working go back to your plugins page and make sure you activated it). We are now going to Amp up these options by installing an additional plugin called Amp for WP - Accelerated Mobile Pages. We need to go back to the Plugins, Add New then type Amp in the "Search Plugins" box like we did earlier.
