5) Don’t worry about design and looks of your site.

When you first start affiliate marketing focus on the content not the look. How your site looks will not dictate whether a visitor will return, it’s the content that you provide that triggers them to bookmark your site or sign up to your list.

I’m not saying that how your site looks isn’t important, but it’s not you should focus on when training to be an affiliate. In fact my first few hundred dollars was made with Squidoo. And my first attempt at a website that promoted wealthy affiliate university is quite ugly even if I do say so myself, yet it still worked.
