HOW TO LINK TO AN IMAGE - Easy Peasy!

Heck yes, in this lesson we are going to be attaching our link to an image that is inside our content!

The image is like a mask for your affiliate link. Think about how you would dress up for a masquerade party. You would be hiding behind a mask, right?

Well, that is exactly what your affiliate link will be doing - hiding behind an image! So let's buzz along here and check out just how easy this really is. :o)

- Step Six -

First I want to say what a SPLENDID job you did on those last lessons; opening a window to the world using your affiliate link! You're pretty amazing. :o)

Linking to an image is just as easy as it was back there, where you linked that group of words/text to your affiliate link.

In this step, I'm going to assume, since your post was suppose to already be ready to work on, that you have your images in place that you're wanting to use. If not, go ahead and add some now.

Once you've added your images, pick which one you'll be attaching your affiliate link to.

1. Click On Image and you will see a bar pop up across the top that has little icons on it. Then 2. Click The Pencil Icon to edit your image.

- Step Seven -

Now, you've clicked the little pencil icon and a window pops open, allowing you to edit some things pertaining to the image!!! YAY!

First, there's a "Caption" area. If you want text beneath your image, you will need to add it as a caption.

1. My Caption Example Says: Click Image To Create Your Own Website Free! Can ya see it?

Also, to get those words to center, you must use a little extra HTML code like this:

You simply add <center> right before caption, and </center> right after caption.

You just add <strong> before your caption, then add </strong> after the caption.

It doesn't really matter which you do first. You must make sure you use the correct ones for beginning and end.

Ok, next you have to choose where you want to attach your affiliate link to! So here you will go to the 2. "Link To" and Choose Custom URL from it's drop down menu!

3. Paste that wonderful affiliate link from your affiliate program right there in that long rectangular space!!!

Last on this list will be to4. Click On Update!
