Hey there!
It occurred to me the other day that a lot of people have questions about optimizing their sites with keywords. That's exactly what I will be showing you in this video.
It's not difficult and you don't need any specialized, premium plugin or service to do it for you.
You don't need to have the keyword in every paragraph or some special frequency.
The most important thing you need to do is to create quality content about the keywords.
Here are the steps to adding keywords to your website:
- Do your keyword research.
- Choose your keyword.
- Write your content naturally.
- If applicable and doable, add your keyword to the following locations:
- Meta Title
- Meta Description
- Above the fold (see video for explanation)
- Sprinkled in content (do this after content is written and ONLY if it makes sense)
- In an h2 tag.
- In an h3 tag if applicable
- Publish content.
The tools I use in this tutorial are Jaaxy and All-In-One SEO. I've been trying out Yoast lately and it doesn't get me better rankings than AIO SEO even when I have everything in the green.
A lot of people get caught up debating which one is better. Neither is better than the other. Just choose one and roll with it. Stop wasting time on things that aren't moving your business forward.
I hope this has helped. If you have any questions comments or other feedback please leave them in the comments box below and I'll get back asap.

I appreciate your steps on adding keywords to our website, especially the one about making sure the keyword is included in the fold.
Thanks, Marlinda!
