4. Image Compression Plugin
Images are an essential part of a WordPress website. If you use 3 images per blog post on average, the page size will be increased by 400kb+. This may be fairly good on a desktop, but on a 4G or 3G network connection, it’s of uttermost significance to offer a faster page.
Image compression is an approach that truncates the overall image size without undermining the image quality. This approach alone can make a considerable impact.
I strongly recommend the Kraken Image Optimizer or ShortPixel plugin. With the Kraken Image Optimizer, your new and old images are optimized through the world’s most integrated image optimization solution (Kraken API).
5. SEO Image Optimizer
If your images are optimized, you’ll get a considerable amount of traffic from image search results. By optimizing your blog images, you can have at least 1 percent coming from image search engines. This plugin amazingly adds alt attributes to all images used, even though the naming of the image has to be done by you. If the images you upload to your blog have the names, DSC001.jpeg or image002.jpeg, you had better stop now. You’ve been making huge mistakes so far.
You are strongly advised to start adding more meaningful names to your images, henceforth. You can download the SEO Image Optimizer plugin here.
This has answered some of my questions that I asked earlier.
It's funny how the answers seem to fall out of nowhere, so I thank you and the members that have help with my questions today.
Be kind and smile often
