Those who say “Publish a post every day” emphasized that posting every day constantly sends repeated notifications to the web crawlers that you’re updating your blog with fresh content which leads to frequent indexing of your blog posts, whereas those who say “You may not publish a post every day” emphasized that doing so may destroy subscriber count and engagement as well as prevent you from observing other necessary blogging activities like building audience engagement, writing email content, participating in communities, socializing and many more, all of which work together for your page ranking and SEO.

Thus, here are 5 Benefits from Blogging consistently:

  • Getting the traffic
  • Becoming more creative
  • Building a community
  • Growing online presence
  • Becoming motivated

1. Getting the Traffic

Whether you’ve been posting content every day or just on a frequent basis, you can testify to it that creating fresh content regularly drives more traffic to your blog. Generating content regularly leads to driving people to your blog organically, generating tons of social media shares, building a blog following through opt-in forms, and getting lots of views from YouTube channels.

In short, you’ll experience a boost in your search traffic when you continue blogging regularly as well as update your old blog posts. You’ll generate live traffic as your blogging frequency drives more commenters to your blog organically than ever.

Hey Aaron, thanks for enjoying this training! Just try connecting Google Search Console with your Google Analytics. You can do this by following the resource below. Israel Olatunji

Thanks Israel. I am confused. I set up my Google Analytics. Do I also need to first set up Google Console (what is the difference?) prior to linking it to Google analytics?
When I try to set up Google Console, it is giving me a code to add into my DNS configuration.... Do I need to do this? If so, where?

Hope you can clarify these questions which would be very very appreciated:-)

Many thanks,
Aaron

Also, could it be that this attachment above is slightly outdated? Looks like the settings are quite different now on Google analytics....

Yes, Aaron! You need to set up GSC first and connect it to your Google Analytics following the guide in the training. No, the training is not outdated at all. The steps are still as explained, maybe you need to understand certain areas of the setup or perhaps just need to figure out some terms that are now used but which are still the same as they were. Anyway, let me know again if you still find some differences in the way the setup now goes from what is explained in the guide above and I'll, of course, look into it for you. Thanks for your feedback!
