Do a good job of describing the product you are promoting...

How many times have you found a website which hardly has any information on it? All you can see is a huge arrow pointing to a box demanding that you click on it...how off-putting is that? I have seen this countless times and guess what I did? Yep...I clicked on the little 'x' in the top right-hand corner of your computer screen!

If all you do is simply place a banner which is 'hiding' your affiliate marketing link, then the visitor will be on and off your page so fast it would make your head spin! If you are not telling the visitor anything about the product, they will simply ignore the banner and leave your site.

When you actively promote the product on your page it must accurately and professionally display to the potential buyer that you know what you are talking about and more importantly, you are someone who can be trusted.

You can express an honest opinion about the product because you have used and tested the product. This will build confidence with the potential buyer and they will be far more likely to click the link which will take them where they need to go to purchase!
