Another question about my site

Hey everybody:)

I'm still working hard at my site, however, I've hit a bit of a wall. I'm wanting to add video to my site and started doing so. However, I know little about making videos.

I have a few recordings up on the site. My concern is that since the videos are of such poor quality that the value of my site is lessened.

If any of you would be willing to provide feedback regarding the videos and how they work with my particular site, I would enormously appreciate it. I need to know if I'm on the right track or not. If I need to ditch the videos, or keep making more. If I need to modify the ones that are currently on the site, or not.

http://helpwithsavingmoney.com/ is the site.

Thanks everyone in advance. This is really important to me. Thank you.

I think you have done a very good job with your site. My only issue with the videos is that you need to stop moving your head. This is very distracting. Practice a bit in the mirror. Use the same script and see if you can do it without all the head bobbing. Other than that, you have a great personality presented and the message is good and to the point.
Congratulations!

Add more pictures!

Labman, thank you for your compliments of the site. I am trying really hard to make the site a good user experience (i.e. not to be overwhelming, not to be disorganized, and so on).
I agree with you. I will try to move my head less. I think what makes it even worse is that the webcam makes it look very choppy.
Regarding adding my pictures, what program do you use to add them? Is it free?

At the top of the edit window is a little tv looking icon. Position your cursor where you want the picture to be added, Click on the little icon and add the image by following the prompts. (You may need to click at the top of the window to select the location of the image). Using your own images is the best choice but there are stock sites that you can go to and find free images to use. If you make a boo boo. Click on the image and edit the location and text variables or delete it and start over.

Hey there, I'm a video editor and I just had a peek at your video in your site. Well, since your site is about saving money (and not about video making), I wouldn't worry too much about the quality of your video. In fact, most people nowadays look more into personalized videos compared to dramatic ones. As a visitor, I can trust you more since I see you talking personally.

Anyway, in case you want to make a better quality video in the future, maybe you can use a camera (instead of a webcam) that has a higher resolution. Even smartphones and cheap digital cameras today can record good quality videos. You can even borrow from your friends out there.

Nice vid!

Chamaltatis, thank you for going to my site and giving your feedback. I greatly appreciate you doing this. I'm glad to know that a less polished video such as my own could perhaps come across as more genuine/trustworthy. I'm glad you mentioned this. That is definitely an impression that I want to leave with my viewers, cause I truly am trying to be helpful to them.
Also, thank you for the smartphone and digital camera ideas. I will keep them in mind. I would like something that gives a better quality. My current issue with using either of them is that I have an older computer--its upload speed is SLOW. However, it still could work . . . if I were patient with it.
Again, thank you, Chamaltiatis. And coming from a video editor too, this is helpful.
