I am a proud, stubborn Viking from Norway
Yes, that's what I am. A proud, stubborn Viking from Norway. We had Vikings long back here in Norway. My impression is that they fought a lot and drank a lot. I don't drink anymore so that's not what I'm talking about here. I like to fight towards something that matters to me, and sadly I've always thought I had to do everything by myself. And that's so wrong.

Here in Norway lots of us think the same. Maybe from the ancient times when we fought like Vikings. We don't like to get help. We like to do it all by ourselves. Maybe because some of us consider asking for help as a weakness in our personality (not me of course).
What I've discovered is that when I forget my old habits of not asking and reach out for help it strengthens me. Here in WA I always get help when I ask for it and for every time I dares to ask I feel so much stronger and powerful. I think it's because I see that I have the ability to learn and grow and achieve my goals here. And every time I learn something new that's useful to me I feel empowered.
So asking for help is not a weakness. It's a strength because it enables me to grow as a person and become more of who I truly am. This is an experience that WA and maybe only WA can offer in a business contexts. I'm truly grateful for that.
Thank you all for helping me become the person I was supposes to be. I hope I can do you justice.
Have a great day my fellow members of WA.
Kindly regards
Tove

Great post, Tove!
If anything has been made clear to myself and my lady here at WA, it is the sense of community.
Towards that end, I am reminded of a quote made by former Minnesota Vikings Quarterback, Pro Football Hall of Famer, and successful businessman Fran Tarkenton once said...
'Profit isn't and shouldn't be the mission of business.
The mission of business is to help people.
To help your customers, your co-workers, your employees, and your partners.
Success is not a number.
It's not X dollars or Y customers.
It's a measurement of VALUE.'
Words to live by.
Fantastic and inspiring mail, DKirsch. Nice to meet you and I'm looking forward do get to know you.

Thank you very much, Tove!
It is nice to meet you as well.
I, and my lady Tonia with whom I am collaborating here look forward to the same!
Hey Tove... You seem like a progressive Viking to me! Keep getting better day by day! Enjoy the journey!
Hei Tove;
Gud velsigne.
Enjoyed the post Tove and if there is one thing we need here that is perseverance, though I am from Scotland I do have some viking in me and my grandfathers family originate from Norway ,
would think most scots do with all their raiding that went on lol we do have viking festivals on here in Scotland during the summer
Who knows Tove you might find yourself over here in Scotland for a visit one day let me know show you around
I have been in Scotland once actually and I wanted to visit a town I don't remember the name of. So I do have unfinished business over there lol. It would be fun to come for a visit. Maybe I bring my boy friend and have a vacation there. That would be great.
But I will first start to visit your websites. Not now, I have to go to sleep. It's late here in Norway. Tomorrow.
See you around.
Tove
Nice Blog Tove, and I have also learnt to ask and accept help here, and it has been great! Regards, Lisa
Thanks, Lisa. It's a learning curve here and we can learn if we want.
Thanks for sharing with me.
