5 Things To Optimize Your First Day In WA

I'm sharing this piece for a couple of reasons - to document my first day in WA (my first day is a Premium membership since free and discounted features in WA aren't available in the Philippines) and to further guide other beginners to stay on track as much as possible.
Whether you're a complete beginner or an intermediate online marketer, getting into any program like WA can sometimes be overwhelming. With the thousands of video training, blogs, comments and opinions within this community, one can possibly get lost. Thankfully, WA is designed as a beginner-friendly site.
Despite all the efforts of Kyle and Carson to make the site as lean and clean as possible though, it is not a guarantee that one wouldn't wander around and get lost especially if he doesn't have crystal clear ideas of how to make money online.
Thus, I've listed a few of my thoughts and experiences on how I optimized my first day so you don't have to go through all the unnecessary things on day 1 (it is my 3rd day today). I consider myself as "intermediate" as far as online marketing skills are concerned but I still have a lot to learn.
How To Optimize Your Day 1 in WA.
1. Start With Why- Before I decided to join WA, I was already prepared to join the Premium Membership. I was insistent in asking Nathaniell of onemorecupof-coffee.com three or four questions as I wanted to validate some things inside WA. When I finally joined, the first thing that I did was to set my profile. It wasn't the perfect one, but I did mention my purpose - to learn, earn and pay it forward.
I would be very hypocrite if profit isn't a motivation to join WA. Along those lines though, helping others to succeed online is also a strong motivation for me. I love people. I am a people person even in our corporate world. With more than 2 decades of people service in the offline business, I think helping others become happier and more fulfilled would come naturally for me. But of course, I have to start learning and earning here and there before I can maximize others' potentials in the online world.

So start with why. What motivates you aside from money? Why would you want to succeed online? I'm sure you have one two. Start from there. Otherwise, listen to your passion. It'll somehow lead you to your purpose online, if not, in life.
2. Believe You Can - I failed many times online and offline and I'm certain you've had your shares of failures too. But despite those failures, you shouldn't stop believing. One simple measurement of your faith in earning online is the Premium membership. It's not that I'd like to sound like I'm convincing you to be one, but if you've invested on something like WA, you'll pour the necessary efforts to achieve ROI. If you'll just believe that you can earn $1000 in 2016, then you have nothing to fear. If we do the Math, if you'll spend $47 plus an autoresponder of $19 a month for 12 months, then you'll be spending $792. That may seem daunting, but let's face it. Businesses need financial investments aside from time, dedication and effort.
But that's where your goals will come in. If $100 in a month is your goal, then that's $1200 for the next 12 months. That'd mean you wouldn't have to worry on WA Premium membership plus autoresponder costs. Just keep on learning. With your strong mindset and purpose, everything's doable. Just believe you can do it too! As someone said, "thoughts become things".

3. Don't Hop Continuously - One of the things that would defocus someone is to hop from one video, article or link to another. Start with 'Get Started Here'. If you have bonuses (videos like Research to Rank, a 26-page PDFs, etc.) don't be destructed. Don't bite more than what you can chew in a day. Even if you have all the time in a day, set them aside for a while (but bookmark or take note of them) get a feel of what's in store. When you're watching the lessons related to those bonuses, then go back to them.
You're not even required to create your site on day 1. To me, it's better to decide on your niche that's aligned to your passion on your first few days. Make a list of your probable niches as much as possible and ask questions. Ask the community or PM anyone else if your niche and your domain makes sense or not. Once you've found your niche (you should be able to name at least one in the first 3 days), then build your online business around it. It'll take time but it should be worth the journey. Just continue to learn with WA.
4. Interact With Others - I've been a member of another membership site before, but the climate here is much more different. I felt at home on day 1 and it has made me believe that I can achieve some modest goals in the next 6 months. I hope you have the same feeling. Follow other members, ask questions, reply to queries, add a comment and do a lot more than just watching and learning videos. It may seem overwhelming to do all at once on your first day, but it pays. I was unranked on day 1, but as of this writing, I'm 1913. To be honest, I'm not really sure what it means but it feels good. : )
The best thing in interacting with the rest of the members is you're also making others feel good. Welcoming them, giving them a sense of push, cheering on their first sale, etc. are great acts of kindness. There are real persons behind our names in the community and feeling good helps each one another to do more. It thus makes everyone of us to be more productive.
5. Document Your First Day - This may be not be necessary, but more likely, you wouldn't be able to remember your first few days, especially your first day, if you'll document it a month or a year after. Obviously, I didn't write this on my first day but it's still fresh on my 3rd day.
Why would it matter? It'll be a good reference if you'll pursue the niche in making money online. Don't take it literally though. You can definitely document your first week, month or year. And when many of us have documented our early journeys in WA prior to making thousands of dollars a month, then that would be a great reference to new sets of beginners in the next few months or years from now.
Happy Marketing!
