It is time to follow your heart

After many years of chasing the money and thinking this will solve all of my problems (cliche I know)....its time to follow the heart. What my true calling is. Sometimes it can be confusing, distressing, emotional and just damn right messy. However, amongst the searching and deepness its time to write what excites me and follow what my soul deeply desires. In hope, this will inspire you to find your purpose, your mission in life. What really lights you up? It is time to be raw, so here goes...

These are things that light me up in regards to doing work I love;

1. Molly and Henry (one rescue, angelic dog Molly and a regal, tramp, handsome dog Henry hehe)

2. Animal Rights

3. Vegan

4. Travel

5. Health and Wellbeing

6. Living minimally

7. Find and doing work you love

With all these in mind I decided to create a website that shares my knowledge of how to create this lifestyle and help people make the connection. I am still figuring out how to articulate how ultimately this is all going to work, but it is a start. It is the start of the journey. Its time to articulate what I want to see in the world. I find it really useful to write down all my ideas, read and watch videos of all the things I am passionate about. Have enough ideas you will then have a unique YOU that is an expert in your field. I suppose I would say my field niche is wellbeing and animal welfare.

Already I have seen so much progress. I love living light, consciously, traveling as much as I can and most importantly sharing my knowledge of Veganism.

Apologies if this post seems messy but I thought I would use the WA blog to write my thoughts on this challenging but enlightening journey.

Let me know your thoughts of what excites you and what you ultimately want to create in the world and what steps you are doing to creating this?

Toni, the heart is were it all starts. The vibrational energy that flows from me into you. I'm a life coach, we are God's 'Lightworkers'. My purpose in life is to help as many people that I can. We will let our 'light shine'.

I love to teach, sharing ideas, writing short narratives and poetry. I love music it heals my soul. I have a passion for singing and writing songs as well. I know I can do all these by reaching out to people through the help of the virtual world. The Internet which I have to focus my mind in building a website that will help to unleash my passion and be able to share it to the world. The primary reason why I join WA. By expanding my horizons and choosing another path, I will be able to fulfil my dreams of having a happy and a good quality life with my family.
Thank you, Toni, for sharing your inspiring article. Have a nice weekend!
Adel :)

Thank you so much Adel for sharing. Wishing you all the best on your journey, can't wait to see it all manifest.

Hi Toni,

I'm so glad your post was the first one I saw this morning! You are a fantastic writer - genuine and earnest. Your words and message really resonated with me.

Chasing the money by taking the wrong job was, at least for me, a soul crushing waste of my life. That's why I joined WA :)

To answer you question "what excites you?" I'd have to say it's the benefits of being mindful about personal finances and resources. Making good choices with those things today and every day to capitalize on the the one thing we all have - 24 hours/day.

My husband and I live very frugally now because we have a dream for our future. We want to live on a boat with our two dogs and go wherever the wide open water calls us (except across an ocean...that's too much water for me!). We want to live in the moment every day from sunrise to sunset, take in fresh air and sunshine. We just want to "be", not "do".

We watch our friends and co-workers make interesting choices with their disposable income. Those choices create short-lived satisfaction and long-term consequences. They lock themselves into jobs they hate, but can't leave because of debt. And that makes me so sad.

For too long I accepted as a fact that I would get a job out of college, work until I was 65 (well, now 67) to collect Social Security, and hope that my 401K grew enough to sustain me for 20 years of retirement before I die. That was the plan for a lot of people, and it didn't work. Bubbles and crashes and murphies law killed that plan. And I vowed that I'd do everything in my power to prevent that from happening to us.

If I could do anything, it would be to share that mindset to inspire other people to make smart choices today so they can create a future they want.

Sorry, Toni - it seems that I wrote a blog in response to your blog! How's that for engagement?! But your message really spoke to me and you made me think hard about defining what's really important to me. And for that, I thank you very much!

Have a fabulous day and I wish you much success on your journey. Keep writing.

Alyssa

Lovely post Toni, yes we have to build for what we love and forget the money chasing. Still working at determining a niche for my new website. Definitely would be one that can help people with a topic I know well like coffee (lol!) anything legal, or careers or well-being! Thanks for getting me thinking and moving.

Thank you Alyssa for your kind words. I absolutely loved your post. Thank you for spending the time to write it. It is great you mention about living frugally because I am just writing content and creating a video about living minimally. By living minimally we don't have the pressure to have to earn so much money and doing the 'wrong' work and we can focus on what our heart desires.

That sounds amazing to live on a boat with your family. My partner and I are looking at traveling around Europe next January with our two dogs, Molly and Henry. Its mainly to be in the warmth. We don't really get good weather in the UK.

Keep me posted on your journey, lots of love and light Alyssa.
