Hi Guys,
I stumbled on WealthyAffiliate just by accident when I did a search on the subject - so it obviously paid off for WA that they got me onboard. Now the challenge is on for me to see if I can recoup my money by doing the same.
Being part of the silver-haired brigade means it's not going to be easy. And there's definitely a challenge to deal with new technology. In my old job as a print journalist, I started off working on a standard typewriter. By the middle of my career I was on computers using QuarkXpress, and then in my later stages of my career I had to re-train on indesign.Already in my early 50s, that was a struggle - but I got there.
Therefore, I am quietly confident that I can make it at WA, but I won't be the fastest off the block. I will be the tortoise who hopefully will eventually overtake the hare.
So far I have managed to set up two domains and have on one of those created about half a dozen posts. Even though everyone says posts and pages are the same, I've found that I can make changes on posts quite easily, but am still unsure of how to do the same on pages. I'm sure in time I will work it out, unless someone tells me.

What I find funny about WA is that at the end of each lesson I want to ask a question, but I hold back. When I go on to the next lesson I find that the question from the previous lesson is being answered. I don't know if that is done intentionally, but it makes me smile.
Being from London, England I also notice that the live chat lessons start around the time I hit the sack. But that's not a problem. I listen to the one's that have already been recorded. Also, it's nice to get answers to questions from Kyle. In one of my responses I cheekily ended my message 'without further ado'.
I decided to call my niche 2travel and among the posts I have created include what you need to take to go on a camping holiday and beach holiday. I am currently working on one dealing with what to take on an adventure holiday.
It's still early days and I haven't made any money yet.I have recently bought myself an iphone and am looking towards setting up an instagram account.
If anyone's planning on going on holiday, perhaps you can help me out.
