No. 1 on Google for a big keyword! So excited!
For the first time in my life working online full-time, I hit the big time with an important keyword going #1 on Google search: both 'price of solar battery', and also 'price of solar batteries':

This sent our website traffic through the roof, and shows the power of proper SEO research, which I learnt here in the WA training.
I'm just using the Wealthy Affiliate Keyword Tool for now rather than Jaaxy, and it is working wonders for me.

I have heard that it usually is a handful of posts that become your money makers and if you are getting lots of traffic that is awesome!!!
That is definitely the case for me so far. I have had 5 big traffic posts now grow to around 10 posts, and they get nearly all of the traffic and conversions. I'm now working on expanding out from the successful ones and learning what I can from what Google likes.
But I also think the other posts help grow the snowball (or site credibility) that facilitates the successful ones.

Hard work, keyword research, and good quality content are required, and it really accelerates once the snowball gets going.
With this page, I saw that Google seemed to like a price per kWh rather than just a price in dollar terms (industry specific here), so I included that in one of my paragraphs even though it isn't really appropriate, and that ended up being what made it into the featured snippet. So when planning a page, see what is at the top of google for your keyword and related keywords.
In a more general sense, it took me around 1-2 years to get this website from the depths of obscurity up to the stage where it is now ranked very highly, at least in Australia, which is all that matters for us. Most of my new blog posts go straight to the first page of Google now, which is really cool.
