Hello, everyone. I haven't been blogging, since I've been busy getting the YouTube video ready and working on promoting another business that has some potential to start paying a bit better than Amazon through My Doggie Doodle. It's hard enough to manage one Internet business, let alone several!

Anyway, you've all met Boo Boo and Ruby, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to some of our furry family who are no longer with us. Ted was our very first Tibetan Mastiff, adopted before I knew anything abut the breed, and Cleopatra, who was a puppy mill St. Bernard. They were quite the pair. Here are a few photos of them.

One of my personal favorites, this is a play pose, not an attack pose

And, when we got married we had another St. Bernard, Bumper, who was a bridesmaid

So yes, that is how nuts I am, my dog was in my wedding. And she had a cape made out of the same fabric as my dress.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and here's to a great week ahead!

All the best with the new business.

Thank you!

cute

Thanks, Paul.

Beautiful babies! I've never had a St. Bernard. Always wanted one, though. Can only imagine the drool. Bassets drool enough! LOL

OMG, drool! Actually, believe it or not, Boo Boo drools and shakes his head, and slimes my walls! One saint did drool and the other didn't, it all depends on how their jowels(sp?) are set.

I found that mine didn't live very long. Bumper had epilepsy and hip issues, died at 6 1/2 but was in and out of the hospital from age of two. Cleo was healthy, but then just got lymphoma at 5 yrs and died a month after being diagnosed, so I stopped getting Sts.

They call them "heartbreak dogs" because of the short lifespan. Shortly the bigger the dog, the fewer years they seem to live. :(

Yep! Tibetan Mastiffs were known to live to 15 or 16, until they started getting bred for AKC standards. It was one of the reasons a lot of people wanted them, but not so true any more.
