Another quick tip about pictures and SEO...

So you have the perfect picture for your website....now what?

Be sure to do a few things - .one add text to your "alt tag"

Use your keywords..... I am loving the new Jaaxy feature with the alphabet soup technique in it!

Next, instead of just finding a picture and uploading it to your website, save the picture as your keyword...on your computer so that your picture has your keyword.....but don't keyword stuff..

Just a quick boost to help get your picture ranked as well...especially if you are trying to sell a product..... :)

Hope this makes sense...

Happy Blogging...

P.S. if you have a moment... please leave a comment on my blog and I will return the favor.

This is an excellent tip, and one people often overlook. Search engines can't 'see' an image, so tell them exactly what they are so that they can index them properly.

Also, be sure to call them something like keyword-rich-image.jpg, and not keywordrichimage.jpg. Underscores_also_work_well.

Again, great tip!

yep! that is correct thanks for that.. I normally use the underscores :)

Hi Tiffany,
Thanks for the reminder. Question;

1) Should my 'alt tag' keyword be the same as my title/permalink OR can I adopt similar keywords (with low QSR) instead?

Been wondering about this for awhile. Thanks.
Left you a comment on your blog post :)
