Go Ahead Google Yourself They Say!

A couple of days ago I read a few posts from other WA community members talking about Googling themselves. Many of the post spoke about how it was important it was to see what was being said about yourselves as well as being fun. One night while I was at work I decide to do just that Google myself. Low and behold look at what I found at the results page. First page fourth entry.

Not the fun results I thought I would find when Goolging myself. Then of course I had to take a look just because.

All I can say is that my name is to common and that I'm going to divorce myself from my name. thats all there is to it. I was hoping to find me on page one not the bad versions of my name. So I was hoping to find out what was being said about me if anything bad and it got me no where. So go ahead Google yourself they say and I will tell you the same but beware never know what your going to find. I'm done I will not Google myself again. Even though I did find some humor in it it was also eye opening.

Kind Regards Tim

Try living with Deb Armstrong. Each brother married a Deb so my sister in law is even Deb Armstrong. I think anytime you have a Smith or Johnson or Armstrong, you're going to have these issues. Funny. ~Debbi

I hear you Timothy. Once I asked a friend in the RCMP, police in Canada, to put my name in the system for fun. There was a warrant for the arrest of a Carl Elie. Good thing our Bday was not the same.
I will look on google, who knows...

Oh gosh! That was not fun at all. I would carry on making a good name for myself all over social media and ignore the fact that this other person exists.

O my gawd! What did you do now? Lol just kidding.

Well! Top listing in Facebook anyway.....:-)))

Yes Tim,

Googling oneself with a common name is much more interesting. The only way to combat that in my opinion is to be super involved with Social Media sites as they rank higher and then page 1 may be completely about the Timothy William Johnson that is you.

Thank you for sharing Tim,

Tony
