01:Discovering Wealthy Affiliate & Choosing my WordPress Theme

I've spent all of this week trying to get my new website going, and it's been so difficult trying to choose the WordPress best theme and plugins for the site. I've done this several times, so I am well aware of how important this decision is. The wrong decision can cost me weeks or months of wasted time, ineffective marketing and frustration. I like the theme I've chosen

I'm putting together a training course and a series of ebooks for business owners who use QuickBooks Online. I've got decades of practical accounting experience and know the QuickBooks product intimately. I also have good training credentials as I ran a technology training company for six years during the 90s. (I trained school teachers how to use computers in the classroom.)

Today, I ran across the Wealthy Affiliate program, and after reading several extremely positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. So far, I like what I see. I think this could offer me a place to mingle with peers and benefit from their collective experience and wisdom. And I see plenty of courses where I could use some guidance.

So, at the end of Friday, just 20 minutes until midnight, I close my laptop, excited that I've made some very important foundational decisions this week. Next week, I start creating my book and course content. Finally, I get to make something!
