What is up with the duplicate profile pics!
I was just looking at all the people I have followed and many of the pictures are the same and claim to be different people. What is going on here??
Well, I should have looked into this more before posting. lol
I saw all the friends I am following and realized many of them have the same picture. It is due to the generic pictures made available to those of us who for our own reasons do not want to use a personal picture.

Hahaha! With a face like mine, I've also given it some thought to swop it. I've been thinking...something like one of those beautiful cars....!!!
Another problem solved in Wealthy Affiliate land. Don't feel bad when I came here I thought that a lot of people had a cat who looked a like as many had a similar cat on their profile
When you create your profile there is an option to upload your own picture or use one of the system images. It could be you are seeing people which have elected to use these generic images.
For me it makes a big difference if someone has uploaded a picture of themselves, it makes it a little more personal. That said some people are just not comfortable with putting images of themselves on the internet.
Are they pictures of the actual people, or are they using pictures of animals, scenery, etc? I know a few weeks ago someone else asked about all the profile pics that were not actual people and one of the responses was that there are some general pics that are provided in case people do not want to use a picture of themselves.
You can either upload your own profile picture or choose from a selection of 20 or so profile pictures (when you first upload your profile).
This would be the reason why here Melissa, nothing to be alarmed about.

I always use my own picture! That is so when I tell people I have a great face for radio, they believe me!
