Paypal Phishing Scam
Please be aware that Phishing scammers are posing as Paypal via email.
The email will say something like this
"Dear customer Or Dear and your email
Your PayPal account has been limited, To get back into your account you'll need to confirm your identity. It's easy: Click on the link below or copy and past the link into your browser. Confirm that you're the owner of the account, and then follow the instructions"
The email will look like this
Once you click you will be sent to a page like this
Do not ever give paypal financial or personal information via email.
There are ways to spot it is fake and here are a few.
1 Paypal will never address you with a dear customer or dear email. They always use your First and Last names.
2 The Url may have Paypal in it like www.paypalsecure,com. Never login to paypal directly from a link always login from browser with https://www.paypal.com.
Never ever enter your id and password unless on this login page.
3 Popups. Paypal will never use a popup box in an email.
4 Bad spelling
5 PayPal will never email you an attachment or a software update to install on your computer.
6 Paypal will never ask for financial details via email
Update sorry i missed this out.
If you do happen to fall for this,. Change your passwords with paypal immediately and contact your bank and cancel your card.
Also forward the email to spoof@paypal.com then remove the email from your computer.
Keep your wits about you and keep your money safe from these criminals.

I see these scammers are back at it again...maybe not the same ones, but I've gotten some of these same types of emails a couple years ago.
Very good advice...Never ever login from a link in any email.
Thanks for the heads up to watch out for these!
Best wishes :) ~Sherry
No worries, Have you a sitrep on the Peacocks,
I HAVE BEEN EVER SO WORRIED THEY ARE SETTLED.
They will try anything. It's a good reminder never to click on a link in an email but to log in the usual way :)
So many scam emails around, I just got this paypal email two days ago, it is scary, lol. Thanks Tim.:)

Thanks for the heads up. I am very careful since I received an email supposedly from PayPal but fortunately I really looked at the email address and it was too strange. They must have been amateurs. It's good to always be aware these days.
